We wish everyone a nice and relaxing summer and green moments in nature. I hope you find time to breathe – we will continue in August! Our office is mainly closed during July while our employees are on vacation. Please make sure we are available by contacting us in advance. Guidelines and application periods for Leader funding for autumn 2026

All forms of project and business support are still available for application. The project selection emphasizes internationality, security and preparedness, as well as the inclusion of young people in development work. A maximum of €80,000 will be granted for an individual project, instead of the previous €100,000. There will be three processing sessions for Leader applications in the autumn. Project support applications must be submitted to Hyrrä three weeks and business support applications two weeks before the processing dates. Preparedness work in villages continues and deepens

Long-term work has been done in villages to improve safety and preparedness. In autumn 2026, we will continue to strengthen villages for disruptions by providing assistance, for example, in developing community houses as preparedness centers. We will also implement a provincial village radio network. The work is made possible by the Smart Preparedness for Villages project, which is co-funded by the South Ostrobothnia Vitality Center and the European Union.
