Learn about AI sustainability with a free online course

Artificial intelligence is rapidly changing working life, but at the same time it raises questions about environmental impacts. Many people are considering the sustainability of the use of artificial intelligence in their own work. A new free online course introduces the topic. The new “Sustainability and AI” online course discusses the different dimensions of the sustainability of artificial intelligence. Guidelines and application periods for Leader funding for autumn 2026

All forms of project and business support are still available for application. The project selection emphasizes internationality, security and preparedness, as well as the inclusion of young people in development work. A maximum of €80,000 will be granted for an individual project, instead of the previous €100,000. There will be three processing sessions for Leader applications in the autumn. Project support applications must be submitted to Hyrrä three weeks and business support applications two weeks before the processing dates. Mari Mäki-Karvia from the village of Hirvijärvi in Jalasjärvi has started as the chairwoman of the Liiver board. Mäki-Karvia has seen Leader activities from many different perspectives: through work, association activities and board work. Leader funding application in May and autumn

There is one more Leader funding call for this spring in Liiveri. Project support applications must be submitted to Hyrrä by 19.5. and business support applications by 26.5., and they will be processed in Liiveri by 9.6. All forms of support are available.
