Implementers of rural development projects can now apply for support payments for those projects for which they have applied for support during the past or this year and received a positive decision. The payment is applied to the Food Agency In the Hyrrä business service.
Instructions for making a payment application can be found on the Food Agency's website. In addition, you can ask for advice from the ELY center or Leader group from which you have applied for support.
The payment of project grants starts after the ELY centers start making payment decisions. According to the Food Agency's assessment, payment decisions will start later in the summer.
The payment of business subsidies begins
It has been possible to make payment applications for rural business subsidies for about a month. Now the ELY centers are starting to make payment decisions for business subsidies. Business subsidies are paid to the applicants' accounts as the ELY centers make payment decisions.
You should apply for the business support payment as soon as it is possible. For example, a company's investment support can be applied for in several installments if the project has been implemented according to the project plan. If the subsidy has been granted as a standardized lump sum, it can be applied for payment when the applicant has implemented the entity for which the subsidy has been granted.
In the Hyrrä transaction service, you can now make a business support change application if there are changes to the project after the decision. A change application must always be submitted for significant changes, for example if the project cannot be implemented within the time specified in the decision.
Rural development grants have been actively applied for
The application for rural project and business subsidies for the EU funding period 2023–27 started in June 2023.
