This is his second year as Chairman of the Board of Directors of Liiver. <span data-olk-copy-source=\"MessageBody\">According to the association&#039;s rules, this is Alaniska&#039;s last year on the board.<\/span><\/p>\n<p>A rural resident was elected as the new full member of the board. <strong>Laura Niemi<\/strong> From Ilmajoki, Per\u00e4sein\u00e4joki Pennih\u00e4\u00e4t ry <strong>Hannu Viitasaari<\/strong> from Per\u00e4sein\u00e4joki and representative of the city of Kurikka <strong>Reijo Hamalainen<\/strong> From Jalasj\u00e4rvi.<\/p>\n<p>A rural resident was elected as the new deputy members <strong>Lauri Pentinm\u00e4ki<\/strong> From Ilmajoki, Ilmajoki Guides Association <strong>Raija Viitamaki<\/strong> From Ilmajoki, Ylistaro Hunting Association <strong>Anne Karhu-Kalliov\u00e4li<\/strong> from Ylistaro and a representative of the city of Sein\u00e4joki\u00a0<strong>Hello Kitinoja<\/strong> From Sein\u00e4joki.<\/p>\n<p>One third of the members of the Liiver board are elected from representatives of municipalities, one third from representatives of companies and communities and one third from rural residents. In addition, equal representation of different regions is ensured. Attention is also paid to gender and age distribution. The Liiver board meets almost monthly to decide on Leader subsidies to be financed. The term of office of a member lasts three years, the chairman is elected annually. Approximately one third of the members are due to resign each year.<\/p>\n<p><em>We warmly thank those who left the board for their time and contribution to the Leader board. You have been an important part of our joint work to develop the region.
