It was already clear in the yard that the celebration was like their village: about half of the partygoers were primary and secondary school age and the other half were of an age group for whom spending the occasion sitting at the table was more natural. There was no \u201cpush-and-pull\u201d at the celebration, people chatted and enjoyed the food. The soup was reserved for the first 150 people, it was cooked in a k\u00f6k\u00e4 \u2013 tasty. A glance towards the kitchen revealed that young men were busy here at the ladle.<\/p>\n<p><strong>\u00a0\u201cWhy did you get it?\u201d<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>&quot;We do things a little differently than elsewhere. Cooking in Munakka is about doing everyday things together. Participating in everyday life together gives you the experience of belonging to a community,&quot; says the chairman of the village association. <strong>Merja Riikonen<\/strong> shed light on the reasons why Munakka received the title this year.\u201d<\/p>\n<p><strong>A living village is being renewed<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>Munakka&#039;s youth club Toivola has been maintained by new generations since 1923.
