The decision on the selection of Liiveri as a Leader group and funding for the years 2023\u20132027 has been made! Liiver's development strategy has been evaluated as excellent by the Ministry of Agriculture and Forestry. According to the selection committee, the overall strategy was very good; perceptive and clear, fluently written and area-looking. A high-quality strategy also affects the amount of funding, and Liiveri will once again receive a good pot of money for local development. Public funding for the years 2023\u20132027 is 5,673,200 euros, which is slightly higher than in the previous period, when compared to the funding available each year.<\/p>\n
A wide range of residents, communities and entrepreneurs participated in the creation of the Liiveri strategy, for example by answering surveys and participating in workshops and expert groups. In this way, it was found out what things residents and companies want to develop in the coming years. According to the selection committee, the inclusive process was excellent.<\/p>\n
- We would not have come up with such a good strategy without active participation, thanks Liiver's Executive Director Sinikka Koivum\u00e4ki. From this it is good to continue to the actual implementation of the strategy, which means financing good projects and business subsidies.<\/p>\n
Liiver's development strategy guides local development in the Sein\u00e4joki, Jalasj\u00e4rvi and Ilmajoki areas. The vision of the Liiver region is to be an innovative region proud of its culture, with room for the future. In accordance with its values, Liiveri wants to be, among other things, an inspiring and innovative network operator. The strategy has four priorities according to which the development work is carried out.<\/p>\n

\u2022 Learning \u2013 Don't pour into the ditch, towards something new with knowledge and cooperation.<\/p>\n
In the season starting now, a total of 52 Leader groups are operating in Finland. Public funding for Leader activities totals 230 million, of which the EU's share is 43 percent, the state's share 37 percent and the municipalities' share 20 percent.<\/p>\n
Applications will be opened gradually before the summer, and the forms of support will change slightly from last season. Liiveri will inform about the opening of applications as soon as there is more detailed information.<\/p>\n
