Investments

In the supported public benefit investment projects, the fight against and adaptation to climate change is emphasized. Projects can improve rural services and develop the environment. Concrete examples are e.g. different exercise and hobby places. They can also be used to improve the environment, such as common space energy efficiency, renewable energy, landscape maintenance and biodiversity. Water supply investments are also possible, such as measures that utilize digitization or promote safety. Public investment support can be applied for both tangible and intangible investments. It is important that the investment sites are openly usable by the residents.

A new possibility is supporting the business investments of associations. This could be, for example, starting a service in the area.

Note! The center of Seinäjoki we do not finance investment projects in the area.

About applying for projects

Investments can be of different sizes. Small projects can support investments with a budget of €2,000–€8,000. In larger projects, Liiveri's support can be a maximum of €120,000. The maximum support percentage for general purpose investment projects is 65 and for business investments 40. Self-financing can be money and/or works for the project. Consider the project's own and temporary financing in connection with the project preparation.

In addition, when you start the application in Hyrrä, it will also be visible to the employees of Liiveri, so we can comment on the application if you want. Hyrrä credentials are created in the Suomi.fi service. Hyrrä's home page has instructions for Hyrrä's technical use.

Project cost estimate and support payment methods

During the application phase of the project, the applicant prepares a cost estimate for the investment project. Acceptable costs of the investment project are, for example, design costs, material purchases, license and subscription fees, machinery and equipment and insurance premiums. Used machines and equipment can be accepted under certain conditions.

After preparing the cost estimate, it is chosen whether the project support will be paid on a cost basis or on an output basis. Small projects are applied for payment based on output.

Alternatives for support payment methods:

The payment application presents the required accounting documents, receipts, etc.

A small project cannot be applied for on a cost basis.

A small project is always paid based on output.

A detailed cost estimate is prepared as an appendix to the project plan, which details the costs of the measures and a presentation of their verification methods, e.g. a photo.

The project can consist of one or more sections. A section can be paid after it has been verified as done. The part that has shortcomings in its implementation remains unpaid.

The support decision can only be changed with regard to the implementation period.

Implementation of projects

The approved project plan and support decision are the most important documents guiding the implementation of the project. Remember to read them carefully and recall them from time to time as the implementation progresses.
