The villages of the Liiver region are active, community-based and entrepreneurs can try their hand at them. We are now looking for a village expert to join our team to promote the intelligent development of villages. The themes of the development are versatile; energy, image, digitality, security and partnership. You don't have to be an expert in all of these areas, but it's an advantage if you're good at one of these topics. Your main task is to inspire, coordinate, organize and communicate to the villages and the stakeholders in the villages and to develop the villages together with the villagers and the expert network. The job suits you if you can communicate fluently both in writing and orally and you like working with residents, associations and small businesses.
You have a university degree and experience in local development work. You are self-starter and innovative and can hold many threads in your hands at the same time. You have the opportunity to use your own car and you can work in the evenings and occasionally also on weekends. It is an advantage if you have worked on projects, but it is not necessary. The tasks are related to two village development projects: Future village 2.0 and 4K-capable and sustainable partner villages. The position will be filled when the Ely Center of South Ostrobothnia has decided on both projects.
Kehittämisyhdistys Liiveri ry is a local developer operating in the Seinäjoki, Ilmajoki and Jalasjärvi areas, which works in a close network with associations, companies and public organizations in the area. Liiver's main task is to act as a local Leader group, to activate and finance the projects of companies and communities for rural development. In addition, Liiveri itself works as a developer in the themes of villages, internationality and young people. Liiveri has been doing impressive development work since 1997.
