Leader Liiveri, the South Ostrobothnia EU information center and local youth centers will jointly organize Clean the table with decision-makers events in the fall of 2024 in Jalasjärvi, Nurmo and Ilmajoki.
At the events, young people spend the evening with local decision-makers playing games, enjoying pizza and talking. The idea is to exchange information both ways: young people get to talk to the decision-makers about the issues that concern them, and the decision-makers, in turn, talk about decision-making.
At the events, young people are also encouraged to become active citizens by providing them with information, e.g. about youth projects, activities of youth divisions, Youth Leader funding and EU affairs. Conversations take place in a relaxed atmosphere while playing, for example, billiards, ping pong, board and card games.
The decision-makers at the events are represented by municipal leaders, managers of various municipal industries, and members of the municipal board and council.
The Southern Ostrobothnia EU information center, Leader Liiveri and local youth centers are organizing events this fall as follows:
· Jalasjärvi youth center Wilhola 5.11. at 17–19 (at. Knuuttilantie 6, 61600 Jalasjärvi)
· Nurmo youth center Kenu 13.11. at 18–20 (at. Nurmontie 7, 60550 Nurmo)
· Ilmajoki youth center Seppälä 21.11. at 18–20 (at. Urheilutie 3, 60800 Ilmajoki).

The first events in autumn 2023
Clean the table for decision-makers started in South Ostrobothnia in the fall of 2023. The event concept has comfortably gathered young people from all over the province over the past year, and a good discussion has arisen with the decision-makers about managing the common affairs of the home county.
