Liiveri organizes events for the residents of the villages, where together with the authorities, they think about what the role of volunteers could be in emergency situations. The tour starts on October 6. From Ilmajoki. The next events are in Jalasjärvi on 10.11. and in Ylistaro on January 19, 2019.
The first Safety in the Villages training day will be held at the Ilmajoki fire station on Saturday, October 6. from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. at Aamukuja 4.
The training increases the capabilities of the villages in the area for security work and makes visible how important it is to organize the activities of volunteers in everyday disruption situations. Residents of the villages, association members and others interested in the matter are welcome to participate in the training day.
In the safety day, the possibilities of cooperation between authorities are reviewed and the role of the participants and their background organization is discussed together in possible exceptional situations such as forest fires, floods or long power outages caused by winter storms. Real events are used as the starting material for the afternoon group work, which are adapted to the conditions of the area, and whose goal is to find the needs of safety work from the perspective of the participants.
