Billiard table for Ilmajoki high school

In early 2021, Ilmajoki's youth council conducted a survey about the comfortability of Ilmajoki high school. The survey was carried out in cooperation with the board of the high school's student union. Students could vote on ready-made development proposals and propose their own. A pool table turned out to be clearly the most popular proposal, so the youth council decided to pursue the purchase of one with the help of Nuoriso-Leader funding. 11 youth councilors and the Ilmajoki high school student union participated in the project. The table was delivered to Ilmajoki high school at the end of the school year, and in the fall it was put to heavy use. The new recess activity has been very popular. The youth council has not thought about further plans, but the table enables, for example, the organization of billiard tournaments for high school students.
