General presentation
The Herrala village sauna run by the Ilmajoki Omakotiyhdistys ry is located on the banks of Kyrönjoki, in a beautiful natural environment. The sauna and meeting facilities are available for rent for associations, sports clubs, companies and individuals. In connection with the village sauna, there is a cold water pool in a separate building, where it is possible to enjoy the popular winter swimming, just like the open air. In the summer, Herrala's riverbank has a boat launch, a boat dock and a swimming dock. A barbecue shelter and a campfire place are available in the yard area.
Travel parking for motorhomes can be reserved in the Kyläsauna area all year round.
In the same courtyard is the one owned by Ilmajoki municipality Construction Culture Center Herrala, whose restored premises can be rented for larger public events and exhibitions.
There is also a Jaakko Ilkka river ferry pier on Herrala's shore.
