Special features

Munakka received a lot of nationwide publicity after Munaka's Munaka won a sketch character competition in 2011. Long before Munaka, Munakka's measuring station has made Munakka famous. Munaka is also home to Finland's first private company that trains guide dogs for the visually impaired.

Good aspects of the village in terms of business operations

A good location near the center of Seinäjoki and a positive atmosphere for doing business from Ilmajoki municipality.

The most important areas for development

Getting a bicycle path and longer street lighting to Munakantie. Increasing and developing cooperation between many associations. There are several building sites available in the village, but in order to facilitate construction, there would also be a need for ready-made plots for those who want to build.
