Myllykoski

Myllykoski

The village is located in the northeastern part of Seinäjoki on the Lapua border. The neighboring village is Höopakka and on the Lapua side is Hellanmaa. Myllykoski is a small agricultural village in the middle of fields and forests. The Vaasa-Lapua road cuts through the village, so traffic connections in many directions are good. The village has a lot of agricultural companies and also other small-scale business activities. The Myllykoski village association acts as a uniting factor for the villagers.

Shared spaces and hobby opportunities

Village events

Little Christmas and summer party.

Construction sites

There are quite a few empty houses in the village and you can certainly find plots of land.

The strengths of the village

Nature, strong agriculture and active people.

Good aspects in terms of business operations

Good transport connections.

The most important areas for development

People should be made to act for common causes and helping others.

Avoidable threats

The threat is that people can't handle it, and don't have time to get excited about the village's joint development and common goals. There is also a risk of a decrease in the number of residents in the side villages and the deterioration of services and moving further and further away due to the municipal merger.
