Sammatti is the southernmost district of the city of Seinäjoki on the border of Virtai, next to Kihniänkylä. It is 23 kilometers from Sammati to Peräseinäjoki, 45 kilometers to Virroi, 50 kilometers to Seinäjoki, 20 kilometers to Kihniö and 40 kilometers to Alavude. The village of Sammati has about 80 residents. In the forested landscape of the village, two rivers with clear water flow on both sides of Virtaintie.
