Why wetlands?
- Wetlands improve biodiversity: Living conditions for birds, frogs, fish, insects and plants improve
- Wetlands help improve the condition of water bodies: Nutrients and solids remain in the ground and do not end up in a lake or river.
- A wetland can be a climate action: A properly implemented wetland reduces emissions and increases carbon sequestration.
The event is organized by the Liiverin Eco-Acts Together project in cooperation with the Ylistaro Hunting Society. The event is part of National Wetland Carnival.
