A trip to Kokkola's medieval days is organized on Saturday, September 1. The program includes e.g. autumn market, tournament performance, fencing show and craft workshops. We also visit the old town of Kokkola in Neristan. We return home via the seven bridge archipelago road. In Pietarsaari, we stop to admire the Aspegren garden, which is one of the oldest rectory gardens in Finland. We enjoyed coffee and cake in the rectory.
The trip is free of charge and includes coffee at the Roselund rectory. Everyone is responsible for other meals and drinks.
Departure for the trip is from Kauhajoki ABC at 7:15. The stop at Ilmajoki Neste is around 7:45 and at Prisma's iron side parking lot around 8:00. In the morning, there is a coffee break at your own expense at the Road House in Alahärmä Power Park, and during medieval days you can buy something to eat to your heart's content. The return journey follows the same route and we will be at Kauhajoki at around 19:00.
