Where does Finnish food come from? What kind of products are produced in your home region? What else is interesting in the countryside? Among other things, you can get answers to these questions at the events of the national Local Food Day on Saturday 9 September 2023!
On Local Food Day, you can get to know local producers and companies, buy fresh ingredients and products directly from the makers themselves, and of course enjoy delicious local food. In many locations, there is also the opportunity to get to know the animals, machines and the grounds.
So it's a real rural open-door event. Events are collected to the map, where you can easily find events in your area. Welcome to a visit on Local Food Day!

Local Food Day is intended for producers, farms, gardens, services, entrepreneurs and further processors of all sizes and types who work with local Finnish food. Producers of rural experience tourism, food industry professionals and other actors are also welcome to participate, all the way to associations and clubs!
