Lamminjärvi Summer Day for the Whole Family June 11, 2025
The City of Kurikka Leisure Services is organizing an active summer day for the whole family at Lake Lamminjärvi in Jalasjärvi on Wednesday, June 11, 2025! During the day, the area's upcoming and completed projects will be celebrated in a lively and relaxed way with the whole family.
The event, which starts at noon, offers a diverse program: exercise, culture and sports, including a women's Finnish baseball league game.
Women's Finnish league baseball match: Jalasjärvi Jalas vs. Laihia Luja at Kurikan Energia Arena at 18:00. The city of Kurikan is hosting the match, so admission to the event is free.
Before the match on the program:
- Presentation of the baseball division's activities to children from 12 to 4 p.m.
- Traffic park open 12–19
- Kurikka sport fishermen's fishing spot 12–15
- JaPypy's cycling point: bike maintenance tips and electric bike testing from 2–5 p.m.
- Beat Brothers will perform at 3 pm and 5 pm near the traffic park.
- Outdoor gym presentation and physical activities (Kurikka Sports Center & Jalasjärvi MLL) 12–4 p.m.
- Self-guided Jekkujänö activity checkpoints around Lake Lamminjärvi from 12:00 to 16:00
- Discover padel: Esko Ravila will guide you from 2–5 pm (padel court open from 11 am–7 pm)
- Cultural activities spray painting booth 12–18
- Liiveri and Kurikka Nature Association point 2–6 pm
- Jalas T15–18 football team kiosk from 12–18 near the traffic park
