Have you thought about how to get young people excited about association activities? Would you like to hear directly from young people what interests them and how association activities could be developed to be more attractive?
At the Youth Involvement event, we focus on exactly this! At the event, you will receive concrete tips on how to inspire and involve young people in activities. Getting new people involved is often essential to guarantee the continuation of association activities in the future, so the issue is topical for many associations.
The event will be held on Wednesday, November 20th from 5:30-8 p.m. at Piirilla Restaurant Verstaa (Seuralantie 25, Seinäjoki). The event is free of charge and open to anyone interested in the topic.
Evening program:

- Veera Henriksson – A volunteer expert from the Citizens' Arena's JEP – Youth-Looking Volunteering project will present the challenges and opportunities in the field of associations in reaching young people. The talk will highlight recent research data on young people's motivation factors and visions for the future, as well as concrete tips on how young people have been successfully involved right from the planning stage of the activity.
- Panel discussion: The role and opportunities of young people in association activities. The panel will discuss what types of volunteering interests young people and what options are available for participation. The discussion will also review the challenges and successes of involving young people in various associations.
