Welcome to the study trip to Pirkanmaa, the heart of village activities, on August 30, 2025!
On Saturday, August 30, 2025, we will head to Pirkanmaa together. Inspiration, practical examples, and good company are guaranteed.
Destinations of the trip:
🌼 Frantsila Marigold, Hämeenkyrö
🧺 Nokia Country Market, An atmospheric event full of local vitality
🏡 Sarkola Vahalahti Cultural Center, The villagers' own meeting place and living village hall
🎨 We also meet ITE artist and Paula Huhtanen, the chairwoman of the Sarkola Villages Association, who talks about the village's activities and events.
We will also hear project presentations:
🔹 Smart village houses in Pirkanmaa
🔹 Villages across municipal borders – A collaboration project between the city of Ikaalinen and TAMK
The trip is free for participants, but meals are at their own expense.
The trip offers insights, peer support and new energy for developing your own village. Come along to learn, get inspired and network!
