On Wednesday, November 13, 2024, from 6-8 p.m. at the Nurmo youth farm Kenu, local decision-makers and leaders will be challenged to play games and answer questions from young people in the event, Putsaa püttäjtilli (Set the Table with Decision-Makers).
Seinäjoki Youth Services, South Ostrobothnia EU Information Centre and Leader Liiveri are jointly organising an event where young people will spend an evening with local decision-makers playing games, enjoying pizza and discussing. The idea is to exchange information both ways: young people will get to talk to decision-makers about issues that concern them and decision-makers will in turn talk about decision-making.
The mayor will be present at the event. Jaakko Kiiskila, city councilor Tuomas Ojajarvi, Director of Urban Environment Juha Takamaa, director of youth affairs Pekka Hautamäki and youth services manager Aleksi Makela.
Young people can ask questions to the decision-makers on the spot or in advance anonymously on the Forms platform.
Entry to the event is free, and no pre-registration is required! Pizza and soda are available at the event.
Warm welcome!
Liiveri, the EU information center of Southern Ostrobothnia and local youth centers will jointly organize the Clean the table for decision-makers event in the fall of 2024 in Jalasjärvi, Nurmo and Ilmajoki.
