The Open Villages day will be exceptionally organized this year online next Saturday, June 13. During the implementation of the day, the villages publish, for example, a video or a compilation of images online. Presentations of village gathering spaces, nature trails and attractions, as well as atmospheric photos from previous events, are coming. You can also see a photo compilation of the activities of the Kylille project and a video made by Liiver about the lively event spring of the villages of Jalasjärvi in 2019.
The main publication channel of Open Villages Online Day is the villages' own websites and Facebook. The village publishes the material on its own website or channel. In addition, the day's material can be published on the village's YouTube channel and Instagram. Links to the villages' own channels will be published on the day of the event at www.avoimetkylat.fi. A map of Finland will be published on the website, from which you can take a tour of more than 500 villages. From South Ostrobothnia, there are about 70 villages from the regions of the four Leader groups.
Today's publications use the identifier #avoimetkylä. The village produces and decides the content, and the aim of the day is to strengthen digital skills and utilize common visibility.
