What if there was a place in the middle of everyday life where you could take a breather, learn something new, do something with your hands, and maybe even find your own little gem?
Come and experience the Seinäjoki Health Forest – a place where nature heals, strengthens and provides experiences for everyday life.
The program includes activities such as controlling invasive species, managing meadows, exploring the world of rocks, and unique gold panning. The Health Forest Meadow and Rock Day offers an immersive experience where you can learn, experiment, and be inspired by the diversity of nature and its importance to health and the environment.

The diverse Health Forest project brings local nature into everyday life – in an experiential, participatory and open to everyone.
11.15 – 11.45 INVASIVE SPECIES CONTROL
Invasive species threaten local nature, but with the right measures, their spread can be prevented. Come and hear how you can identify and combat invasive species and how even small actions can have a big impact on biodiversity.

11.45 – 12.00 INTRODUCTION – TRANSITION TO PRACTICAL WORK
12.00 – 13.00 MEADOW WORKSHOP IN THE FLOWER FIELD OF TERVEYSMETSÄ
Practical work on establishing meadows and strengthening biodiversity using traditional methods.
Led by Marika Riihimäki, ProAgria.
13.30 – 16.00 STONE DAY PROGRAM
Lakeuden Stone Club / Hannu Raja, chairman
The Lakeuden Stone Club offers the opportunity to bring your own stones for experts to identify and participate in gold panning.
14.00 – 15.00 Käpälikö Stone Path Tour 750m – geologists Satu Hietala and Teemu Öhman
14.00- 16.00 GOLD PURIFICATION AND VASCULARIZATION (continuous point)
Try gold panning and copper panning with guidance! The participation fee of €5 includes instruction and equipment. The payment will be directed to the Lakeuden Stone Club for the purchase of competition nuggets.
The finder or scavenger gets to keep the nugget they find.
