The opening ceremony of the future village project will be held on Valentine's Day, Wednesday, February 14, 2024, in Seinäjoki at Elinkeinotalo. The event starts at 17:30 with a meal.
At the event, the themes of the project will be presented and the introductions of the experts will be heard.
Energy villages – energy and circular economy expert Maarit Kari
- The village can aim for self-sufficiency and sustainability through, for example, energy surveys and renewable energy. You can map and utilize the opportunities of renewable energy, reduce waste, strengthen the circular economy and recycling, favor local production and test new energy technologies. You can plan sustainable consumption trainings and community projects.
Villages of digital services – rural developer Annika Eklöf
- Digital brings the world to your home. You can develop your own digital services, use health services electronically and create communal digital platforms. You can promote residents' digital skills and combine it with the smoothness of everyday life.
Imago villages – the heartthrob of services Hanna Kallioniemi
- Create a story about your village that invites and inspires. You can create a strong brand and identity that makes your village attractive. You can shape your visual identity, implement marketing campaigns, organize community events and strengthen digital visibility.
