The safety in the villages training day will be held at the Kainaston Youth Club on Saturday 19 January 2019 from 9 am to 3 pm at Ylistarontie 520.
The training increases the capabilities of the villages in the area for security work and makes visible how important it is to organize the activities of volunteers in everyday disruption situations. Residents of the villages, association members and other interested parties are welcome to participate in the training day.
In the safety day, the possibilities of cooperation between authorities are reviewed and the role of the participants and their background organization is discussed together in possible exceptional situations such as forest fires, floods or long power outages caused by winter storms. Real events are used as the starting material for the afternoon group work, which are adapted to the conditions of the area, and whose goal is to find the needs of safety work from the perspective of the participants.
