Asko Isolahti, chairman of Ylistaro's Kainasto youth club, was awarded the Fire-Souled Developer! - diploma at Liiver's annual meeting on August 18. In Jalasjärvi.
Istolahti has been leading and implementing the development of Kainasto village in a planned way for decades. Several development and investment projects have been carried out in the village, which have been both implemented and managed with high quality. The work has improved the physical framework of the village, such as the summer theater and the youth club. The mental well-being and comfort of the villagers have also been promoted, for example, with the help of a rural art project and by participating in the social entrepreneurship experiment.
In development work, Istolahti cooperates in an exemplary way with various actors, such as Liiver, the University of Helsinki, the city of Seinäjoki and other youth clubs and associations. In addition to developing its own village, Istolahti has spread development know-how to other Ylistaro residents and Ylistaro villages. The development of the villages in the area complements the development work of the city.
Seinäjoki Seudun Kehittämisyhdistys Liiveri ry wishes you luck and thanks Asko Istolahti for its innovative approach. Development work is up to individuals, but at its best it is done together!
Liiver's Diploma is awarded annually for good development work. The diploma highlights the work done in the projects and good practical examples.
