The environment and natural resources responsibility area of ELY Center grants discretionary state grants for water and fisheries projects. The application period for grants awarded in 2021 is 15.10. – 30 November 2020.
Grants can be granted for projects of general interest, the purpose of which is, among other things, to promote the versatile use and good condition of water bodies, to protect biodiversity, to strengthen the vitality of threatened or endangered fish stocks, or to reduce flood and drought risks. Support can also be granted for development projects promoting the sustainable use of natural water resources.
In the ELY center's environment and natural resources area of responsibility, grant applications are also underway for building heritage management, environmental education and enlightenment projects, and renovation and development projects for local recreation areas in municipalities. Their application also ends on 30 November 2020.
