Ideas from study trips

With the Travel theme project implemented by Liiver, local operators were activated to renew their operations by looking for new ideas, methods of operation and a new perspective, which would have positive effects on a wider scale, e.g. services and vitality of the area. Nine associations implemented a study trip in the years 2020–2023, of which three were domestic trips and seven were foreign trips. The GENGREEN project supports female entrepreneurs in starting a sustainable business

The GENGREEN project focusing on green female entrepreneurship has started at the beginning of January. The goal of the project is to support a total of 50 female entrepreneurs in Southern and Central Ostrobothnia, Lapland, Norbotten, Tromsø and Finnmark. The project is implemented with the support of the Interreg Aurora program, which offers funding opportunities for cross-border cooperation in northern Europe in the area of Sweden, Finland and Norway. Liiver board meetings, spring 2024

Liiver's board of directors will meet monthly in the spring of 2024. Long experience in theaters gave Jarkko Loima a good foundation for entrepreneurship. By combining experience in the theater industry with programming expertise, he created a software product called Misto ART, which facilitates the management of theater operations in complex schedules and space reservations. Founded around the product, Riverside Solutions has now established its position in Finland and aims for moderate growth in Europe. Youth section member Milla Rantamäki and Heidi Kohtala from the Food Agency participated in the local meeting organized in Myslowice, Poland in June 2022. Liiveri sent ten young people or those working with young people on study trips to different parts of Europe: Italy, Poland, Germany, Greece and Bulgaria. In addition, a local meeting for international participants was organized in Liiver in August-September in Finland.
