In 2024, the most important activities in Liiver were the active application for Leader grants, especially for small business grants, the implementation of the Results website and the active participation of young people in development work. Traditions and new ideas hand in hand
The Liiver board awarded the 2025 diploma for significant work for rural development to Jaakko and Sari Koskenkorva. The couple, who moved from Tampere to the village of Koskenkorva in Ilmajoki, have been running the Koskenkorva Inn for seven years. Abundant local offerings in forestry matters, open to everyone
The Lakeuden Forest Management Association, operating in the Ilmajoki, Kurikka, Kauhajoki and Teuva areas, has already gathered over four hundred participants in the Lakeuden forests' activation and knowledge vitality project for training, demonstrations and excursions in the area.
