Billiard table for Ilmajoki high school
In early 2021, the Ilmajoki Youth Council conducted a survey on the comfort of Ilmajoki Upper Secondary School. The survey was carried out in cooperation with the upper secondary school student union board. Students were able to vote on ready-made development proposals and propose their own. The most popular proposal turned out to be a billiard table, so the youth council decided to pursue the purchase of one with Youth Leader funding. 11 youth council members and the Ilmajoki Upper Secondary School student union participated in the project. Retreat club for young people
With the help of Youth Leader funding, a wilderness club was organized for young people, where they did a variety of things. They learned how to light a campfire safely, how to use a compass, how to use a game camera, and how to identify different game animals and their tracks. We made a deer trap together, which we took to the forest with the young people and where the game camera was placed to film.
