A flower was planted in the courtyard of the Herrala Cultural Center on Tuesday evening in honor of Finland's future six hundred years. At the same time, the 20th anniversary of Liiver was celebrated and a meal was shared.
4H associations are selling a package that includes a poster, a book and a spruce seedling. The proceeds from the campaign will be directed through the Finnish Cultural Foundation to environmental education for children and young people. Local 4H youth will receive a share of the sales.
– Liiveri's goal is to promote working together for the benefit of one's local environment, so the campaign is a perfect fit for Liiveri's anniversary program, says Executive Director Sinikka Koivumäki.
