The aim of the Sustainable Development Week is to create a week of events together with associations, municipalities, companies and other stakeholders, highlighting all the good examples of sustainable development work done in rural areas. The activities organized during the week can be ecological, social or economic sustainability, and the activities can be implemented, for example, as workshops, lectures, theme days or open house events. The events of the Sustainable Development Week can be organized by various actors such as municipalities, schools, companies or associations.
Would you like to organize an event during Sustainable Development Week in collaboration with the Liiverin Eco-Actions Together project? Let's brainstorm and implement them as a group - together we can achieve more! Get in touch I'll say.
Come join us as an organizer
- Think about what you can organize that concerns either social, economic or ecological sustainability.
- Plan an event for Sustainability Week.
- Think about partners and target group.
- Register your event at kestavankehityksenviikko.fi by September 15th.
- Participation is free (each organizer is responsible for the costs of their own event).
Your event will be marketed as part of a larger whole with other sustainable activities, but plan if you need your own contributions to reach a specific target group.
