Ylistaro's village cooperation group has been operating for a few years, and one of its goals is to increase cooperation between villages and the sense of community among the residents of the villages. This year, the villages decided to have fun by organizing events in different parts of the park. The events offer everything from competitions to discussions and from singing together to saunas.
The week of events starts at Jyrkä summer theater on Sunday 1 July. at a joint singing event organized at 3 p.m. The host is Esa Perttu. The songs are accompanied by Rami Loukola. Pekka and Heikki, familiar from the plays, lead the group singing. The organizers are the Ylistaro diabetes club and the Ylistaro Kainasto youth club. (address: Ylistarontie 520)
The chess games on the Untamala field are on Monday, July 2 at 6 p.m. The series are for girls and boys born in 2009-2015, running and ball throwing. There will be a boot throwing competition for adults. The competition is organized by the Untamala village association. (address: Kosolantie 45)
Wednesday 4.7. we get a positive buzz in the church village when the Ylistaro Kirkonkylä Asukasyhdystys organizes a discussion session with the theme ASU – ENJOY – PRACTICE – TRY. The association welcomes residents to exchange thoughts, development ideas and hear greetings at the Rinta-Kaukola home museum at 6 pm (Kaukolanranta 1). Delegates present. The event will include coffee and sausages, time travel to the past in the museum and identification of objects.
Everyone who wants to can get on Thursday 5.7. in the sauna evening at Pietarus swimming place (about 10 km from the Asema intersection towards Könnintie towards Ilmajoki). The sauna is already heated from 18:00 to 21:00. The organizer of the sauna evening is the Asemanseutu development association.
