The Ideas for Euros campaign collected around 180 ideas or sets of ideas, which were thumbed almost 4,600 times.
The most popular idea in Seinäjoki was the wish to restore the riverbanks. The ideas about working public transport and own land swimming pool also received a lot of likes. The idea of developing year-round activities in the Kalajärvi area also received a lot of support.
In Ilmajoki, the idea of an outdoor gym got by far the most likes. The ideas of a wine party and Jaakko Ilka's climbing park also gathered support. The development of the park area and the riverside walkway and the creation of recreational areas near the youth farm also garnered a lot of likes.
A swimming hall emerged as the most popular idea in Jalajärvi. In Jalasjärvi, the development of the Lamminjärvi and Kivistö areas and the riverside in general also came to the top of the most liked ideas.
The collected ideas have now been classified and they have been used in the first-stage search, which ended at the end of May, for the Leader group for the years 2023–2027. Next fall, Liiveri will organize events together with other operators to promote the most popular ideas. Events and the continuation of the strategy work for the new season will be announced on Liiver's channels, so stay tuned!
