In 2024, the most important activities in Liiver were the active application for Leader grants, especially for small business grants, the implementation of the Results website, and the active participation of young people in development work.
Leader business support has been renewed from before. We have now been able to support the development and start-up of 64 companies. We can also support part-time entrepreneurship, which is exceptional in the world of business support.
On the Results page We want to answer the question of what has been achieved with Leader funding. The results of Liiver's activities since 1997 have been collected on the page. On the page you can see, for example, how much funding has been received in the region for local development and what kind of results have been achieved in terms of businesses, villages, young people and internationality.
The year 2024 was the youth theme year at Liiver. This was a great success! The youth section was active, Youth Involvement page was published, Youth Leader support was granted to both groups and young entrepreneurs. In addition, several youth-related development or investment projects were launched. These include the Migration Museum Youth Association's Migration Museum Youth Project and the Korpisaari Foundation's Sisua ja syräntä development projects, as well as the Lakeus Disc Golf Ahonkylä course improvement investment.
