Leader Liiveri offers associations, foundations and other communities the opportunity to implement investments that improve safety and preparedness. The support is intended for investments that facilitate everyday life and increase the community's ability to act in emergency situations.
Funding is available for a wide range of projects. For example, purchasing a hearth shock absorber, installing security cameras, improving lighting or building a disabled ramp can be funded measures. Backup power solutions, such as generators, and energy-saving investments, such as air-source heat pumps, solar panels and geothermal energy, can also receive support. It is also possible to finance renovations of community facilities, backup water supply systems and renovations of boreholes. Support can also be granted for the preparation of plans and reports, such as energy audits.
The size of the investments can be 2,000–185,000 euros, and Liiver's support covers 65% of the costs.
The application period begins in autumn 2025, and applications will be processed by Liiver's board on a monthly basis. Approved projects must be implemented by the end of 2027.
– Now is the right time to implement the safety improvement that a village or community has long dreamed of. At Liiver, we help develop the idea and plan the project from start to finish, encourages Telle, a designer at Leader Liiver. Lemetyinen.
