The ELY centres began making payment decisions for development projects in July. So far, approximately 1.9 million euros in rural project subsidies have been paid. During the autumn, the ELY centres will also be able to make payment decisions for, among other things, theme projects and projects that include both investment and development activities.
Project applicants who have received an electronic funding decision or whose paper decision has been subsequently saved in Hyrrä can apply for payment electronically in the Hyrrä service (https://hyrra.mavi.fi). If necessary, the applicant can also apply for payment using a paper form.
The schedule for receiving payment is affected by the number of payment applications pending at the ELY Centre and how carefully the payment application has been made. Some of the projects applying for payment will be subject to an inspection visit before the support is paid.
In this programming period, funding has been granted for 1,250 development projects from the Rural Development Programme for Mainland Finland. The application for project support is ongoing. Experts from the ELY Centres and Leader groups advise project implementers on applying for support and making payment applications.
