May call: Meirä Summer Outings – Organize a summer event for young people!
Do you dream of being able to plan, organize and implement your own event – and at the same time do something meaningful in your own community? Meirä Summer Escapes invites you to join us! The May theme call encourages young people to come up with ideas and implement summer events for young people with the help of Youth Leader support.
What is Meirä's summer escape?
The Meirä Summer Outings theme call inspires young people to take action and organize summer events in their own village or community. You can plan an event that suits your needs – whether it's a music event, a game night, a workshop, a festival or even a youth theme day for the entire village. The most important thing is that the event is conceived and implemented by the young people themselves.
Where can I apply for support?
You can apply for Liiver's Youth Leader support for expenses incurred in organizing an event. Support can be received for, for example, performers' fees, equipment rentals, marketing, supplies, or venue arrangements.
Are you planning a band night, for example, but need sound equipment? Or would you like to organize a summer outdoor event that requires supplies and a program? Youth Leader can help you realize your idea!
The application is open until the end of May 2026. Decisions on applications submitted during May will be made during June 2026. Youth summer escapes are waiting to be realized!
Who can apply and how much?
The applicant must be a group of young people:
- A group of at least three people aged 13–25.
- The group must have a designated adult contact person who is one of the young people in the group or an adult responsible adult.
- The applicant can be an informal group or an association.
- Youth money is awarded to a project in which young people are the implementers.
The amount of support is 100–800 euros, and Liiver's support can cover a maximum of 90% of the costs of the % project. The Liiveri youth division will evaluate the applications at its meeting in June 2026.
