Would your village association be interested in social entrepreneurship? The service provided by the village association can be any service that your village needs. According to the principles of social entrepreneurship, part of the operating profit is directed back to the development of the village community, so that the company established by the village association benefits the entire village.
What does establishing a social enterprise mean in practice and how is it done? This is what a project by the Ruralia Institute of the University of Helsinki aims to answer, which is investigating the interest of village associations in South Ostrobothnia in increasing service production in their area through social entrepreneurship.
