A shared kitchen, as the name suggests, is a space where people can come and cook and eat. There are currently five such spaces in five locations, but by the end of 2018, the project, funded by the Ministry of Social Affairs and Health and coordinated by the Church Board, will expand to all regions. The pilot kitchen for the South Ostrobothnia regional project is currently the House of Activities in Seinäjoki. Activities that bring people together will be spread more widely throughout the region through active village activities.
Shared kitchen The aim is to create a new operating culture based on the collaboration of multiple actors. The project aims to strengthen community spirit and offer everyone the opportunity to work together and do meaningful work with a low threshold principle.
