Is the activity of your association waning? Do you need new ideas and volunteers to join your activities? Ostrobothnia's Liikunta ja Urheilu ry's Uutta virtaa project is a stimulus for clubs and associations to develop new tools and operating models.
The idea for the project started out of necessity.
- The tradition of volunteer work is strong in the region and there is a desire for voluntary work, but the need and the factors and ways of doing things do not always meet. New types of models are needed that are suitable for today's rhythm of life, says the project manager of the project Aino-Maija Siren.
The project kick-off events will be held in Seinäjoki on January 16, Ilmajoki on January 18. and in Jalasjärvi on 24.1. The events are open to all associations in the area, from village associations to sports clubs. Everyone who needs new perspectives for their activities, networking or tools for recruiting new volunteers is welcome to attend. PLU will inform later about the events in more detail.
- It's worth going to the kick-off event to hear what opportunities the project offers, encourages Siren.
