The Meidän markki project involves creating landscape plans for places in common use. One of them is the courtyard of the Tapaninlinna youth beach, the plan for which is already in its final stages. Plans for five other sites will also be completed before the summer. Improvements have been considered with the associations for the courtyards of the village houses, the camping area, the beach, the park and the surroundings of the summer theatre. We are still looking for one association that would like a landscape plan for its area. The plan will be drawn up according to the associations' own wishes, needs and resources.
The fastest progress has been made by the Ylistaro Tapaninlinna Youth Club, whose landscape plans are already ready for handover. The improvement plans were refined in three sessions. The largest of the upcoming works are the embankment of the parking area and other earthmoving work. Already during the spring, trees were felled in front of Tapaninlinna so that the house was magnificently exposed.
The goal is for each participating association to have a plan before the summer that will allow improvements to be implemented in the area. Some of the final plans will be finalized during the summer and autumn.
