The first decisions on rural business support will be made in mid-December.
Mavi's press release 12.11.2015
The ELY centres will start making decisions on rural business support in mid-December. At this time, the ELY centres can request necessary additions to the applications from applicants so that decision-making can proceed quickly when possible.
After receiving the decision, the applicant can be sure of funding and can negotiate with other funders about financing their project based on this. However, the implementation of the project can be started at their own risk even before receiving the decision, once the application has been initiated.
The ELY centres will make the first business support decisions on paper, because electronic decision-making is not yet possible in the Hyrrä information system. A decision on the start of electronic decision-making for business and project support will be made during November. The development of the Hyrrä system will continue based on the recommendations of the study on the development of Hyrrä commissioned by the Finnish Rural Development Agency.
More information about forms of support is available from the ELY centres and Leader groups.
