Lehtimäki village is a powerful and progressive agricultural village, located 20 kilometers from the center of Seinäjoki and 12 km from the church village of Peräseinäjoki. Seinäjoki flows on the southwest side of the village, in the north is a large natural Karvasuo, perhaps Seinäjoki's most valuable natural site. There are about 30 households and 80 inhabitants in the village. Lehtimäki is the name of the village's most central hill and the old kievari house, from which the village got its name. Services

The nearest village school is three kilometers away in Ala-Viitala, which has a sports hall, ice hockey rink and lighted fitness track. There is a school bus for children right from the front door. Middle school and high school are in the center of Peräseinäjoki. Regional road 694 passing through the village is illuminated and there is a light traffic lane next to it at the village.
