The village of Luomankylä, with almost 300 inhabitants, is located in the heart of nature and in the peace of the countryside, near the center of Peräseinäjoki (3 km towards Virroille). The branch of Luomantie is beautified by the Luomanjoki, one end of which joins the Seinäjoki and the other joins the Kalajärvi canal. It is a short distance from Luomankylä to admire Lake Kalajärvi, which can be toured both by car and along the edge of the dam, for example by bicycle. Luomankylä lavu is located along Järvitie, which runs along the Kalajärvi canal. There are many cottagers in Luomankylä.
Various organizations and associations organize diverse activities at the defunct village school. Popular are, for example, civic college circles and music enthusiasts' exercises and gatherings. Luomankylä's own associations, i.e. Luomakylä's country club, the women's section of the country club, and the village committee organize their own events at the school. A children's playground and a sports field are located in connection with the former school. The weekly maintenance cleaning of Luomankoulu is organized by the village associations.
The most important event of the year has traditionally been summer parties and table dances. Parties have been organized in the old, nostalgic and culturally impressive village hall in Tapiola. After the fire in Tapiola, the summer party has not been organized for several years. In the future, summer parties may be organized at Luoma's former school. Other events include, for example, traditional fishing competitions, roadside cleaning kitchen and cycling around Kalajärvi. The village associations also have meetings and dinners among the villagers.
The village's associations have collected a map of vacant lots. In addition, a few vacant houses for sale may be found in the village from time to time.

One of the village's most important strengths is its good location. It is a short distance from Luomakylä to the services of the center of Peräseinäjoki. The proximity of Kalajärvi brings its own beauty to the landscape and enables, among other things, boating, fishing, swimming and camping. Otherwise, the village has good opportunities for movement in nature. The village's former school offers residents hobby opportunities and enables the organization of various events and parties. All in all, Luomankylä is a peaceful and close-to-nature area for the older population, families with children as well as cottagers. The average age of the villagers has decreased recently thanks to children born in the village and families with children who have moved to the village.
With vacant lots and new construction, it is hoped that the population of the village will continue to grow in the future.
In the coming years, the most important development targets are the preservation of agriculture and forestry, prevention of eutrophication of the Luomanjoki River, marketing of vacant houses and plots of land, and preservation of the recreational opportunities brought by the former village school, at least intact.
Eutrophication of the river is perceived as a threat, if the dredging of the river, the cleaning of the riverbank and the right kind of water flow are not taken care of. The river itself brings beauty and closeness to nature to the landscape, offering opportunities for fishing, boating and swimming, among other things. It would be important to keep the river clean and alive.
