Röyskölä village is a lively and cozy village near the center of Ilmajoki. Good connections and nearby services have made the village an attractive place to live for people of different ages, especially families with children. The village of Röyskölä is located on both sides of the Kyrönjoki. The village's operational area also covers Fossila village, Pirilä village and part of Nikkola village. The main roads in the village are Könnintie and Nikkolantie, which run on both sides of Kyrönjoki, which are lighted, paved village roads with light traffic lanes. The central thing in Röyskölä's landscape is Kyrönjoki. You can cross the river via the Nikkola and Röyskölä suspension bridges. The landscape alternates between old bottomland houses and newer homes. There is also a zoned residential area in the village area, but most of the village is a rural single-family settlement.
The Ala-Kuhnala daycare center operates in Röyskölä village and there are also family daycare workers in the area. Herrala and Peltoniemi schools are close to the village. The village is close to the center of Ilmajoki and thus all other services are close by. The village of Röyskölä has active business activities, such as a home appliance store, several land construction contractors, a physiotherapy company offering occupational well-being services, a riding stable and dog training facilities, as well as Erkin Haussi, which offers meeting, meal and overnight facilities. The Röyskölä village society, Keskikunna Maaseutunainet and the sauna and meeting room of the Homeowner's Association are located in the village area. The 4H club meets at Peltoniemi school.
Good location near the municipal center, Kyrönjoki's recreational facilities. There seems to be constant interest in moving to the village. The future of both schools near the village is secured and they are in good condition.
The densely built courtyards of old Ostrobothnian houses in Nikkolankylä, Pirilänkylä and Fossilankylä have been selected for the National Museum Agency's list of nationally significant built cultural environments. The Maurio manor has the home studio of the artist Marita Henriksson, which is open by appointment (tel. 06 424 8411). Mainly sculptures are on display.
The village is located near the center of Ilmajoki along excellent connections. In addition, it is only 15 kilometers to Seinäjoki. There is still room in the village to build and expand business operations.
