Saveenkylä is a peaceful and attractive village. There are about 140 inhabitants in the village. Hannukselantie runs through the village and the settlement is located in a strip along the road. The area of Saveenkylä includes part of Kalliosalo, Luomanranta, Saha, Tuulia and the southwestern part of Pojanluoma. Tuoresluoma flows through the village. Saveenkylä is a vibrant village community. Saveenkylä is located about two kilometers from the center of Ilmajoki. From the farthest house to the center is approx. 10 kilometers. Saveenkylä and Pojanluoma countrymen's clubs have joint events.
The services are concentrated in the center of Ilmajoki. There is no school or shops in the village. A big advantage is that the Sunday mail is distributed to the village.
The village club has a Paavontupa for rent, which the villagers can use as a meeting and hobby space. Ilmajoki's versatile recreational opportunities are close by. The chewing track and the Palonkylä school's gym shift are available to the villagers.
Traditional events in the village are the Easter bonfire, Christmas and summer dances.
The following associations operate in the village: Saveen Kyläseura, agricultural and household women, farmers' association, Saha-Saveen Diakonia district and water cooperative.

The village's strengths are the close-knit village community, the vibrant and maintained and cultivated rural environment and the proximity to the center of Ilmajoki. New, young families with children have also moved to the village.
The special features of the village are e.g. strip-like settlement of the village. There is also a significant white anemone deposit on Luomanranta. There are classified traditional landscape areas and small water habitats along Luoma. The village is known to have several habitats of the endangered flying squirrel.
Saveenkylä has room to operate and build. The village has versatile business activities. The proximity to the center of Ilmajoki supports business activities and customer connections.
The most important development target in the village is definitely the basic improvement of Hannukselantie. The bad condition of the road hinders the development of the village in many ways and gives the village a negative stigma.
Our village has good growth opportunities. Suitable distances to the center of the municipality, the neighboring towns Seinäjoki and Kurikka (25 km) and the proximity of the public road facilitate commuting.
