Young people create with the support of Liiver - funding for development and investments!

The Nuoret luovat search encourages associations to involve young people in activities and develop creative activities that interest young people.

Liiveri grants funding for development and investment projects that increase the opportunities for young people to participate and express themselves through art and culture. In Keskiö there is an activity that is especially conceived by the young people themselves, which is creative, sustainable and strengthens the cultural vitality of the region. Projects can be used to create long-term activities that continue and develop as implemented by young people themselves. In this search, young people mean people aged 13–29.

  • Both development and investment projects can be applied for. In both, the budget can be no more than €8,000. Support for development is 80 % and for investments 65 %.
  • Associations and foundations can apply for support To the Liveri region.
  • The theme search is open until 19 November 2024. Applications received will be processed at the November and December meetings.

Young creative development projects

Increase the opportunity for young people to express themselves through art and culture. With the project, the association can, for example, hire a young person to do community development work related to art and culture, or acquire a creative expert to do culture together with the young people of the area.

Examples of where development support can be applied for:
  • Environmental art - Revitalizing the environment with environmental art designed and implemented by young people.
  • Homework related project – A project recording local history and traditions, where young people conduct interviews and produce video content.
  • Piloting a new kind of event or camp - A young person implements an event that is intended to become part of the association's annual activities in the future.
  • Young people's own music, film or theater projects.

In development projects, the budget can be 2,000–8,000 €. The livery support is 80 %. The remaining 20 % are applicants for their own money or work for the project. Eligible costs in the project include e.g. hiring costs, purchasing services, travel expenses and material costs, as well as unpaid work for the project.

Young creative investments

Investment support offers associations a good opportunity to develop conditions related to young people and culture. The subject to be supported must be an investment of general benefit. The investment can be the purchase of machinery, equipment or equipment or an intangible investment. Investment can also be construction, repair or expansion.
The essential thing is that the need for investment has genuinely come from young people and their cultural needs, and that it will be widely available to residents.

Examples of what investment support can do:
  • Acquire cameras, sound reproduction equipment, lighting, stage structures or other accessories that young people need to organize cultural events or occasions.
  • To modernize the space intended for young people located in the village hall, where young people can practice and develop their creative skills.
  • Acquire machines and equipment for spaces where young people can do art and culture projects.

In investment projects, the budget can be 2,000–8,000 €. The costs of the project include e.g. the purchases made and the unpaid work done for the project. Liiver's support for the investment is 65 % of its costs. The remaining 35 % are the applicant's own money or work for the benefit of the project.
