Youth Leader's goals in Liiver

• Get young people involved in development work
• Offer young people ways to influence their living environment and comfort
• Encourages young people to become entrepreneurs

Who can apply

Liiveri grants support (=youth money) to the projects of young groups in the Ilmajoki, Jalasjärvi and Seinäjoki areas, as well as to youth entrepreneurship (the support has its own rules).

A group of young people

• Is a group with at least three people aged 13–25.
• The group must have a designated adult contact person who is one of the group's youth or an adult responsible adult.
• The applicant can be an informal group or association
• Youth money is awarded to a project where young people are the implementers

For what purpose can a group of young people apply for support

• The theme of the project is free. The project can be, for example, the organization of an event, the purchase of shared hobby equipment, or anything else that a youth group can do together and is reasonable and legal. The activity must be drug-free.

Factors influencing the choice

• The idea is to use as many young people as possible.
• The project must be planned, implemented and reported by young people.
• The project has novelty value.
• It is good if the project is done in cooperation with other local entities, such as an organization, school, municipality or company.
• It is advantageous if the activity can become permanent, and it is also suitable for other groups of young people.

Mandatory selection criteria are applied in the evaluation of Nuoriso-Leader's projects

• The project is realistic and feasible.
• The applicant has the financial and operational abilities to implement the project.
• The benefits or results of the project are directed to the area of the Leader group.
• The outputs and inputs of the project are proportionate.

How to apply for support

The application form can be found on Liiveri's website at www.liiveri.net. The application form is submitted electronically to Liiver. The search is continuous. Decisions on applications received by the end of January, April, August and October will be made during the following month. The implementation period is one year from the decision. (Note! If you start the project before Liiver's decision, you do so at your own risk, i.e. if Liiver's decision is negative, you will not receive funding).

A group applying for youth money must have a designated contact person who is one of the young people in the group. The group applying for youth allowance must have a named responsible adult of full age, if none of the group members is of legal age. The responsible adult assists the group in filling out the application and reporting and is responsible for using the support with the group. In an application for a group of young people, the application form requires the information of at least three young people in the group.

Amount of aid to be granted

The amount of the youth grant is 100–800 euros/ project of a group of young people. Support is granted for a maximum of 90 % of the project's costs. In connection with the final report, the applicant submits the receipts for the purchases made to Liiveri's office. The applicant must return the unused part of the support. If the project is realized larger than planned, the support will not increase from the granted amount. If the project is canceled completely, the entire support must be returned.

Deciding on support and paying support

The decision on the funded Youth Leaders will be made within about a month after the end of the application period. Development association Liiveri ry reserves the right to accept or reject the Youth Leader application. Granted support is paid to the applicant's account within about two weeks of the decision.

Reportage

Youth groups report their project and the use of youth money to Liiver using an electronic reporting form. The reporting form can be found on Liiver's website. In addition to the report, copies of the receipts/invoices for the expenses for which the support has been used are sent to Liiveri. The reporting period is defined in the support decision. Groups that do not report by the deadline will be charged the full amount of money back. The condition of the support is that the recipient of the support provides vouchers (copies of invoices) of the project's expenses and prepares a report on the project.
